Terms of Service
Last updated 12 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SME Hub on web and mobile - whether you book as a customer or run a business as a barber or shop manager. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
SME Hub connects customers with local service providers (such as barbers and salons). We provide the marketplace platform; providers deliver the services customers book. The same web portal serves customers and providers with role-based access.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your location to use SME Hub. Provider accounts (solo barber or shop manager) may require additional verification before full marketplace access.
3. Bookings and payments
When a customer books, they enter into an arrangement with the provider for that service. Prices, availability, and policies shown in the product apply. Payments may be processed through SME Hub or at the shop, depending on the booking. Fees, cancellations, and no-show rules are disclosed before confirmation.
4. Provider obligations
Providers must keep hours, services, and availability accurate; honour confirmed bookings; and comply with applicable local laws and licensing. Shop managers are responsible for staff access they grant inside SME Hub.
5. Cancellations and changes
Customers may cancel or reschedule according to the provider’s policy and any cut-off times shown at booking. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges where clearly disclosed. Providers may cancel when necessary; we will help rebook or refund where applicable.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, harass customers, providers, or staff, submit false reviews, scrape data, or attempt to disrupt our systems. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
7. Reviews and content
If you leave a review, upload portfolio photos, or post other content, you grant SME Hub a non-exclusive license to display it in connection with the service. Content must be honest and not unlawful or abusive.
8. Platform role
SME Hub is not the service provider. We are not liable for the quality of services performed by independent businesses, except where required by law. Our liability for platform issues is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be highlighted in the product or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
